when are we gonna get some pics of the machine?

I was hoping this weekend but we didn't have a chance to stabilize the base today, hopefully tomorrow, it's only just legs and side rails now (lower frame), but it's big! the gantry should take about 2 weeks, give or take.

and of course it's not painted. just bare steel.

so what do you got coming in this week? (steel and such)

I got, 2 knifes (bf survival custom bare from ironwolf; and a swiss champion plus) 2-AAA ultrafires, 2-L1D body tubes with red filters and diffuser, and 20 keychain lights.

oh, sorry, had to run into the other room.
this week....
well, the DMLE, the meaner, the L2D. maybe 8 books, 5 CDs, a new belt, maybe some other stuff. you forget after a little while, you know? oh, and my challenge coin, finally!

nothin' wrong with bare steel. seeing it in progress as it's assembled is always interesting. especially when you don't have to do the work yourself. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

any plans for halloween?

well with the 20 lights I'm gonna put em on everything, zippers, tags, pulls, you name it, they were like 5 bucks for 10 and they are pretty bright, like those free bees. I will put ironwood for the scales, be good practice. and no plans for free candy day, we're to remote for trick or treaters so it'll be just another day.

I'm supposed to get together with some friends from the pumpkin stab-a-thon for games and stuff on wednesday, but nothing that isn't how we always spend our time anyway.
even if they don't ship until fri., it still counts as this week for me because my calendar is totally effed up, like my sleep schedule. as long at they're here by like next tuesday, it counts!

fastest SY I got was the DM in around a week! we all were shocked and very pleased, the longest was S6, 4 months! (long story). but Patti really works hard to get em all out as soon as she can.
