MB, I have the Original version of the 530 (bottom one in your pic). And yeah it does feel REALLY light and cheap, but it isn't. it's a good little knife. Oh mine is NOT the axis lock.

I am quickly becoming a fan of the axis lock. its rock solid. The 530 is going to take some getting used to.

I'll second that, the axis lock is one of my favorites locks on folders.

OK cool I am not up on any benchmades except the autos two of wich I carried in the sandbox. they never jammed up on me even with all that moon dust blowing around over there.

I have several benchmade autos. One i need to send back because its broken. A Mini reflex and an auto stryker which has a very weak action.

I'm not a huge fan of the autos. Even though I have at least 6.

I always liked the Siebert MPR but it is just too little for me. Let's see how much the new one goes for when it's out.
