I don't know if it would take the place of my DeRegulator. That's my favorite big knife from the Yard. I even sold my SOD because of the Deregulator

I don't know if it would take the place of my DeRegulator. That's my favorite big knife from the Yard. I even sold my SOD because of the Deregulator That Regulator is a sweet knife. The handle feels as if it is molded to the palm...that goes for the de-regulator too I like the 711 since it is a big and a well balanced blade. A good number of active military picked this number up when they went to special training. Clearly it is as popular as other 11 series but for different reasons. Dan

Quick question, Dan. When the 711 was first released the grind was described (I think) as ultra convex saber. Does the current stock have that grind, or are they flat saber?

Bye 711 *sniffle* It's a really nice blade. I hope to see something new in that size range pop up soon. Maybe a 6.5 inch long, 3/16" blade? I dunno.

Got mine, but with all this talk of knives disappearing and selling out, I finally got around to ordering the 1111. Would not want to miss out on any of the 11 series!

Whew....just got my order in! I was thinking about ordering one for a while, and it would have been soooo disappointing if I missed this by a day or two...geez!  Congrats to all my fellow dogs who got their orders in on time.
