I'd get a fast fire three with a 8 MOA dot or a FF2 with a 4 MOA
The three does have a few nicer features and remember that 1 MOA is roughly 1inch at 100yrds. So if it's 8 MOA it's will be 4 MOA at 50. Or about a four inch dot.
You can always shop around and get the sight model you want then order the base you want. The. You get exactly What you want

It's your call but it's meant for looking down the top of an AR stock and co witness with the reciver. If you have any drop in your stock you head will have to come off the stock and you may get your cheek slapped so to speak by the stock. The lower should be closer to co witness with the gun and will give you a closer point of aim point of impact at close and far distances. Always mount optics ask close to the bore of the weapon as comfortably possible.

I want one and get all the way to hitting the COMPLETE button and back out. Then I'll use the "Iron" sights and think they are good enough. The Less "Gadgets" It has the more reliable it will be. Decisions decisions.

I had thought about all that, but was just thinking the AF may be better because of the Picatinny rail on top of the receiver and the high AR style front sight.
