I saw this girl at the gun show Saturday and then a couple hours later she was arrested for open carry at a shopping mall. ![[Linked Image from farm4.staticflickr.com]](https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3758/13207493224_1039e66bb1.jpg) She was wearing her handgun in a thigh holster. MO does allow for open carry but local laws and ordinances can say otherwise.

Luck is right. The city there has passed an ordinance that open carry is not allowed. I guess the cesspool from St. Louis (about 100 miles due north) is floating south.

Not the same thing but in South dakota, where I am from, under our laws for conceal carry, it states no municipality may enact any ordinance that infringes on the State's law. Many cities have signs stating firearms are not allowed in certain areas but the court would be forced to throw out any case that goes against our conceal carry laws.
