When I have a cold, I have a strict regimen of chicken soup, cold tablets, hot buttered rum and/ or ginger brandy. I don't know if it helps cure the cold but I certainly feel better, (especially after the rum and brandy).

Buttered rum or ginger brandy? What are those? I know rum and brandy. And rum with brandy...
