There's some great pics there! There are quite a few old abandoned places like that in our area; but I would sure love to get a hold of that Studebaker!

Just found out the other day that the guy who owns/runs the camera store we go to is a Studebaker nut! He built a convertible for his wife and he is working (almost done) with a custom puckup, 455 engine, suicide doors and some nice "Surprises".

He also lengthened (front to back) the cab of the pickup. The right rear tail light is hydraulically operated. It swings out and then down as he put the gas filler under the light.

The hood will open from either side and of course swings side to side.

He said he's built about 7 Studebakers in the last 15-17years.

The auction was interesting today; some guy bought a USED rifle like mine for $340.00 MORE than what I paid for a NEW one! There was 14 boxes of ,22 LR ammo...50 rounds each, with original price stickers of $1.75 still on the boxes, and they sold for $11.00 EACH!!! Crazy! The only thing I bought was a crummy bbq brisket sandwich and a Coke.

Day wasn't really To bad. Went to the funeral of the sister of a lady we go to church with then went on the junket. It was a really nice pretty day.

Although a bit windy, it felt good to get out of the house!

Looks like a neat place to visit on a nice day.
