No, it doesn't come with a sheath. However, it does fit into a survival sheath rather well. And if you look at Brigade Quartermasters the navigator sheath by Spec Ops brand is on sale right now for $20.00. I picked one up earlier this week. I kind of wish that I had ordered another one or two. I still might.
The scrapper 6 isn't a true chopper. The spine is stout and you can baton rather well with the thing and have little fear that you'll damage the knife. Stabbing with the knife is going to be limited because of its thickness. It's not a fighter. It's more of a general purpose blade. I don't think it really excels at any one thing, but does everything reasonably good.
The res-c handle is nice and fits the hand well. However, I do wish that the lanyard hole was bigger.
It does takes a bit of time to get an edge on it. However, it does maintain an edge rather well. I haven't had any issues with rust yet.
All in all I like mine save for a few small details. But, they are just things I'd personally like in a knife. If I had it to do all over again knowing what I know I'd still do it.
Peace Jerry

The company sheath is about $17 and is fine... The Scrapper is a good all-rounder but I'd agree it's not big enough to be a really good chopper but it is small enough to be an EDC that you really can use as a 'survival knife' (I hate that phrase..) if push comes to shove... I'd not be without mine now.

If you have a Ranger RD6, the Scrapper 6 fits into that too.

Brigade Quartermasters the navigator sheath by Spec Ops brand is on sale right now for $20.00. shucks.. i Saw that one too! wasn't fast enough.. all sold out now. But isn't the Navigator designed for 5.5" knives? I considered it for my ~4" HRLM

I wish Spec-Ops would make a sheath for up to a 10" blade.

TKC, Do you know if Ranger sells any Bigger sheaths that may fit the Dog Father?
Somebody suggested an Ontario RTAK/RTAK2 Sheath for the DF.. but i think it may be too thin.. 3/16" vs >1/4" !

Other than custom knives, no, I don't. And when I ordered my Custom RD 4, I got a Buy Brown Kydex sheath with it. Justin sent it out for pants.

That's quite an endorsement, though I have read great things about both sheathmakers. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Jerry, Did that Spec-Ops Navigator fit the Scrapper 6 ok? Better late than never I guess. yes the Navigator 8 inch fit the scrapper 6. I don't know if the 6 inch version of the sheath will work. Peace Jerry

I would definitly go with On Scene partly because Eric is a fellow canadian but also I have one of his sheatrhs for my CRKT Sting and it is shockingly good. It came with both IWB and a dedicated belt sheath. Another good choice is Leatherface I have a SS4 sheath coming in the mail from him and plan to do a comparison a sort of battle of the sheath makers. The spec ops are nice but are not good for concealed carry.

A guy that goes by Leatherface on here made my sheath for my Scrapper 6. I'm very happy with it. $40 shipped and all. His company name is Azreal's Leather. Highly recommend. -Ron
