hmmmm that's not a bad idea .... i recon the YG is a good place to start!
I am going to wait to see what dan releases first though! i figure it's going to be pretty soon (within the next 3 weeks or so) then once i've bought that, i'll know what my budget is for a second blade. then i figure YG, DMCG or SS4.
How do you like your DMLE? I can't wait till i get mine ... What do you use to sharpen your blades? At the moment i use the spider co rods for maintenance, or the lansky 5 stone set if i want to put a new edge on. I like the spyder co set, but don't like the fact that there are only 2 angles you can use (30 / 40 degrees). I've also never had to sharpen anything as hard as SR-77.

I have a variety of stuff to sharpen my knives depending on the use and the edge I want.
I use any one of a number of:
Belt sander (From 80 grit down to 9 micron)
Leather Strop (5 micron compound)
Norton Water Stones (220x, 1000x, 4000x, 8000x)
Spyderco Sharpmaker
i have found SR77 to be quite easy to sharpen. Takes a nice edge too.
