I remember an article where the author was testing a variety of shotguns on a combat course. He made it very clear he hated the Benelli and loved a modified Rem 870. He also had a couple other guns in the test. He proceeded to shoot his best and fastest scores with the Benelli, by a fair margin. He still couldn't bring himself to say anything good about it and ended the article by stating he would buy the 870 as it fit his needs best. He had defined his needs by the criteria of the test and the Benelli killed every other gun in the test and he was the one doing the shooting, so it wasn't a familiarity thing. Funny how some people refuse to accept facts even when they witness them themselves. People are strange. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

People are strange. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> I have been through about 10 8 hour shotgun courses and the only Benelli I saw that had a problem was a short barrel model that would not cycle bird shot. Other than that one shotgun, all other Benelli's functions well. I have Mossburgs and Remmy's and all have performed very well. An 8 hour shotgun course is borderline insanity. After a few hundred rounds, your face will be swollen no matter what you shoot.
