Yep and my wife and i upped our contributions and started a medical savings plan we are running out of ideas. Some have said just take more out well that would put me at another 150 a month out of my check hell when is enough enough?

For the "Cradle to the Grave crowd" It's NEVER enough (long as THEY aren't forced to give more). Funny isn't it, that "The Ruling group" always exempts themselves from any "Penalties".

That is why I think term limits should be the first change made that and no exceptions for laws it applies to everyone or no one.

Yup, term limits, law applies to everyone (extenuating circumstances considered of course) and NO Government (Congress) pension for ONLY serving one year, or cut it in half or more like they do for the Military when we retire.

No pension if you can only do 8 years you don't need one, do your part to improve the country then go enjoy the fruit of your labors is my thought on the matter.

I had originally thought about 8-16 years before any congressional pension, then thought well MAYBE 4 years. But then they should get only HALF OR LESS of their regular base pay (extra amount for any perks, housing etc would not count).

I guess that would be ok but they get E5 pay then.
