Serious Dr Who fan here. I used to watch the "classic" series when it was available on PBS, and I love the new doctors. Chris Eccleson was just awesome as the Doctor. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> From his very first scene in "Rose" he WAS the Doctor, he made the role his. That having been said, David Tennant is growing on me, but he was not instantly the Doctor like Chris was.

I have seen these last two seasons episodes on the same day they were broadcast in the UK because I have a secret source in the UK who shares with me. Both seasons have been great. I cannot wait for the "Runaway Bride" to air.

I pretty much like all of the Doctors, but Tom Baker is probably my favorite from the classic series, but Jon Pertwee was real good too.

Bring on the bowie and more Doctor Who!

Alot of the classic DVDs can be had over at Suncoast or Borders.

Wilson's has alot of great stuff! I need to check them out.

Rich, I had the pleasure of meeting Jon Pertwee and Sylv McCoy at the same time. Jon was a great guy and Sylv if very funny. I had pictures taken with the both of them. I met Sylv again the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Aside from being an archaeologist I also work in a sales dept. for a hotel. He was here for a convention and after his talk I pulled him over in the corridor behind the scenes. My wife and I had photos taken (my wife said that he hung on tight hehehe). He was very nice and we talked for a few minutes.

OK all you Dr. Who fans, tomorrow is Christmas Day and time for the Dr. Who Christmas special. This year I believe it is called "Runaway Bride". If all goes well I should be watching it within 2-3 hours of it's release in the UK.

Oh, and yes I will be polishing my Scrapper 6 LE during the show (just to keep this thread on topic).

Sadly my S6 will be left at home while I visit relatives and watch the Doc tomorrow.
