Nice collection HD! Can you do a spine shot for comparison? Yes, I'll do one for the chop off. The Becker, Rat, and Gryphon are all about 3/16" thick. The Ka-Bar is about 1/8". The Yard Guard is like a crowbar next to the others.

I love it! Compared the DM to my HRLM today to show someone. It is hilarious! Not a wonder the DM can chew up cars! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Nice set of 7 inch blades HD.
As usual I love the swedge you modified on the Becker. I was lucky enough to find a full set of Camillus Beckers before they stopped producing them. They were also a great value for the money... I wish I had bought all of the Beckers. I have the Brute, the Combat Bowie, the Combat Utility, and the Patrol Machete. Wish I had gotten some of the smaller ones. Great steel.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Three Yard Guards arrived today with no sheaths (they are on back order). I introduced mine to his fellow 7" combat knives. The chop off is next week. Sweet! Looking forward to your test results Thanks for sharing the picture Dan

Just for general information, the sheath for my Ranger RD-6 fits the Yard Guard just fine. The RD-6 and RD-7 use the same sheath. The RD-6 fits the old Becker BK-7 OD sheath (the BK-7 fits a 7" Spec-Ops sheath with a little modification to the liner). I have an extra Yard Guard that I got for a dog who was afraid he might miss out on the offering, but he was able to get one. LF is making me an OD Kydex for my S6, so its cordura sheath will be available for the extra YG. Plus, I have three S6 sheaths and one DF sheath on backorder. The DF sheath will fit the FBM in case I want to carry it along with some extra gear. My FBM is already scratched up, so I might as well use it some more. I like having extra sheaths available. In fact, some of my knives have more changes of clothes that fit than I do!
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
