Cool JJ. We were wondering what had happened to you. Oh when you get to Japan, Look up the National sword Museum, they have Japanese swords over a thousand years old there. You might like it. Also when you hike up Mt. Fuji send my my "Fuji Stick" when you find it.

Haha, actually LIKE AN IDIOT, I didn't hike up it. But I DID see the Tokyo Eiffel Tower. AND The military has a Hotel in down town Tokyo. The cost per night depends upon your rank. Also You will need to go to Rupungi to the Hard Rock Cafe.

I spent the first three a half years of my military career stationed in Japan. I was in Okinawa for about two and half years and Camp Fuji for the rest. As the only photography asset stationed on Fuji, I had to hike up the volcano about four seven times. I have stayed at the New Sanno hotel near Raoppongi more times than I can remember ... my memory may be affect by the libations.

I haven't been tot he sword museum though. I'll check it out.

OK, So You'll be on Okinawa. Oh well you can always catch a hop to Honshu. Who knows, while you're on Okinawa maybe you can take some classes and learn to defend yourself.

I see spear fishing and SCUBA diving in my future (still have my gear). Four of the Marines I worked with on my first tour there will be getting there about the time I do. We are looking into getting a boat. Tuna fishing!

My McFu (Play on MCMAP, Marine Corps Mixed Martial Arts Program) is strong. But, I think I may study Ninjitsu and look into other MOS fields. I can be the secret squirrel/silent assissin/space shuttle door gunner.

I LOVE SCUBA diving. Course the only place I've dove is Hawaii. But it was nice.
