I love the Hogue knives. I met Allen Elisashawitz at Blade a few years ago and he showed me all the things that go into one. I still want one of the G10 models.

I have a EX-01 with the aluminum handles. The only thing I didn't like at first was the big ole high ride spoon pocket clip, but I replaced that with a small low ride clip. Now I really like it!

I was at the Hogue factory in Paso Robles a couple months back. Was there to get a set of revolver grips. After shopping in there pro shop our group of four was asked if we would like a tour of the facility.
I didn't even know they made knives until we were shown. Very cool machinery.

storminnorman, I personally prefer the frame lock. Just has more metal to engage the tang of the blade. BUT I do not hesitate to carry a liner lock (not a cheap POS) and my primary hope to never use knife is a liner lock emerson.

Well, I just pulled the trigger on an Emerson, my first. Now I have the task of going through my collection to figure out what I can live without in order to cover the cost of the Emerson.

I'll post pics when I get it.

Spidy, which one did you get? I have a CQC7 spearpoint, a fixed Karambit and the combat Karambit. I just need the Super Karambit (folder) to complete my collection of Emerson K-bits.
