Greaser is right; I could change my mind on an hourly basis as well.
I changed my mind this weekend after some challenges on our smallholding farm. The more I actually use knives as tools the more I learn about what makes a practical knife. Just like any other tool, one is never enough / one size does NOT fit all. This is why I asked which three.
Anyway, after having small things go wrong on Friday/Saturday/Sunday I've refined my list:
#1 Bushcrafter / Kitchen Prep / Garden Worker
STEEL: INFI
FINISH: SATIN
BLADE DIMENSIONS: 5" x Less Than 3/16
GRIND: FULL FLAT
HANDLE: G10
CHOIL: ROUNDED
PUMMEL: ROUNDED WITH HOLE
NOTE: I don't own this knife and haven't identified what models best fulfill this role. The new SOB would be close, but the Saber Grind is a deal killer.
#2 Busse NMFSH
I think this might get replaced with a Battle Mistress, but I stipulated you have to own the knife to list it. I ordered a ASHBM CG over the weekend. Its not exactly what I want, but I need the extra blade length. Time will tell if the straight handle will work or if I'll need to find a Fusion Battle Mistress.
#3 Busse Leaner Meaner
These are great little knives, and are a pleasure to EDC belt carry.
