What comes next?

Here's what I would like to see:

1. Camp Dog - 7.5" blade, modeled after the Camp Tramp/Steel Heart, preferably SR-101.
2. Neck Dog - 2-2.5" blade, skeletenized handle, like a Rat Shaker, maybe D-2 steel.

I'd also love to see a Khukuri (12-13" blade, 3/8-1/2" thick, 17-18" OAL, SR-77) and a machete (cutlass pattern, 18" blade, 23" OAL, 1/8" or so thick, SR-77).

Anyone else?

Something different from the usuall Busse Swamprat offerings like a dagger or traditional tanto but with a resiprene handle.

Hadn't thought of that, but a Fairbairn Sykes style dagger with a Res-C handle would be very cool.

isn't the older d2 model longer? what's the oal on that one? go full scale i say! also, a skeleton key or somethin neckable. sr77's fine. how come we haven't seen any picks of it chopping through sidewalks yet?

scrap yard robot. we all know the busse genes have the brilliance to pioneer an infi/sr101/sr77 house cleaning, brush clearing, dinner fixin robot like rosie from the jetsons. with optional scrap yard mountable belt fed 12 gauge shotgun for security duty loaded with 00 infi shells. cannot be shipped to MA or CA.

A spear head with an 8" double edged blade and 12" OAL that could be attached to your pole of choice would be cool too.

Instead of a machete or a kuhkri, how about a pharang?

Way cool choppers, and you can easily sharpen the blade at different angels for different tasks as the shape makes it easy to "segregate" usage of the various areas.

Do you mean a "barong"? I've never heard of a pharang. I actually prefer either a golok or a bolo to a barong though.

I'd really like to see Busse/Swamp Rat/Scrapyard start making some other cool (but always useful) tools. The Crash Rat is a huge step in that direction.

After the bowie?? Let's get the bowie out first- then get AN INFI BOWIE!!! That would be awesome (Andy's AK47 idea could fly too, if it was a little more curved for sabre cuts..)

If Dan doesn't do an INFI bowie (boo!) an INFI S9 would be very nice, I'd settle for an INFI S7 though.

I've had a change of heart. i don't wanna see a skeleton key or american kensei.

there's plenty infi out there if that's what you want. it's nice for Dan to give us a little affordable infi now and then, but scrap yard isn't busse. i don't feel right asking him to produce someone else's products rather than his own. i also feel that's part of why he introduced the bowie rather than just porting the battle mistress to scrap yard. these are his knives and i'm eager to see what else he comes up with. i was glad to see a few posts above asking for more than ports from swamp rat and busse. let's see somethin different: maybe some sr77 knuckles!

At risk of being Devil's advocate, Jerry hasn't done res-C since the Basics were canned, so a big INFI Dan style bowie would be all 'yard and not all that much FBM. The only thing 'wrong' with the FBM is micarta, the only thing wrong with that stunning bowie is the poorer corrosion resistance of sr77 relative to INFI. I love my S6 but I'd like big res-C INFI at some point.. I think knuckles are traditionally brass not sr77... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
