Sweet. Do Stores usually charge for getting stuff shipped to their FFL?

Yeah, its a great gun though - perfect for backup or EDC. I'd much rather have something like that than a Saturday Night Special or any other auto that is smaller than a baby Glock. .22's and .25's don't impress me at all!!

I want to say $10 or $20 - I've never done it though. If you have a carry permit it might save you some cash as well. Part of the fee is because they do the background check for the seller when you pick up the pistol - in Montana, you don't need to get a check done if you have a permit.

how is the accuracy with the 642?

I have a permit. I currently carry a Glock 27. but that is still too big for a pocket.

Good out to say 15 feet - but its definately not a precision weapon! It doesn't really have a rear sight, just a groove that goes down the spine of the frame. I don't shoot it recreationally, I just carry it for the worst case scenario kind of situation. Most gun fights happen within 8 feet or something though - and are only 3-4 shots (something like that). You're definately compromising your capacity with the 5 shots in that 642 - but you can be worry free about jamming and some other problems that can happen with autos (or coming out of battery when you've got it jammed in someone's gut, or not cycling a 2nd round in that same situation because of clothing getting stuck in the slide)

My baby Glock 26 is very accurate, I shoot as well with it as I do with a full size Glock - but its not going to work in your pocket very well (I carry it IWB or ankle very easily though).

Ha - didn't see that before I posted. I really like my 26. Have you seen the A&G Mag Spacer to convert a 15rnd mag to a full grip for your 27?

Have not seen that one. I have some Pearce grip ends on my mags, so it gives just enough room for my pinky
