Just got the middle one and am really enjoying it. The bottom one is simply the best woods knife I've ever had. Graet blades all...

Rich,
Please tell me about the bottom knife.

Gary, I believe that is a Koyote Little Big Knife. I may be wrong on the model, but it's definitely a Koyote.

Give that man a cigar! Good call.

It's his woodsman version- essentially means thinner stick- about 1/8" but plenty tough! Convex edge and has the one of the most comfortable handles of any knife I've had. Great all around blade.

Koyote Knives/Christof Harper is my favorite custom maker. Had some great knives of his over the years. He's kinda fallen off the planet the last couple years since he bought a farm In Nevada I'm sad to say. He's won/done very well in the competitions at BF on the Wilderness forum.

Here are more pics- I think it's a good looking knife, but it doesn't photograph well.

With another of his called the Great Basin Bushcrafter- super cool knife. Hurt to sell that one.

You can check out his stuff here....old world rustic style and every thing I have had from his has been uber functional.

I love blabbing about my Koyotes! grin

I will say I was sharpening my Howling Rat last night and man, that knife takes a great edge! Such a great grind on that knife.

Yeah, I remember when he was active on the forums and I always wanted to try out one of his knives. Now I'm kicking myself. That's what I get for slacking. Sierra posted one of his knives for sale on Koyote Tuesday a while back but it wasn't my style.

I have learned that if there is something special you want (within reason of course) get it, because it may not be there for long! wink

That is an interesting knife, and as of late I've found myself looking at brands other than Busse and Kin. This violates my rule of "Busse and Kin ONLY". My brand loyalty only extends to a few items in life:

AR15 = BCM or Colt
Knives = Busse & Kin
Semi Auto Shotguns = Benelli
SUV & Trucks = Ford
Tactical Weapon Lights = Streamlight & SureFire

These loyalties were earned through great customer service, superior products, and re-re-re-re-re-repeat performance of these virtues.

HOWEVER, the lack of diversity in design as of late has me looking into other knife brands.
