The G22 is a great gun for 40SW fans. It is large, by today's CCW standards, but 15+1 of 40SW is serious fighting business. As a Glock owner, you already know their merits.

I carried a 22, 23, and 27 for a number of years. The G23 was one of my all time favorite CCW's. I have a G19 and G26 in my current carry rotation.

Enjoy the license when it arrives. A good friend of mine lives in Illinois and recently completed his required class. He's a combat vet and looking forward to carrying. We've been friends since 1992 so he's been having me rub "I can carry a gun and you can't" in his face for 22 years. I guess I'll have to start picking on his choice in Scotch now.

Yep the 23 and 27 are planned purchases. Not many compact guns allow the use of the bigger counterparts mags like glocks. This way my back up is a full cap mag.

I like .40 because I grew up shooting it so recoil doesn't bother me.
And I like the balance of round size, speed, and capacity,

I picked a kydex for my first CCW so I have a consistent draw. Also I'm worried about snagging the trigger on a flimsy holster edge.

The incog I ordered has the optional single mag holder and I also ordered a stand alone double Mag holster for more carry options.

As for armor I will probably order plates from ar500 but I still haven't found a carrier I like. Anyone know of a company making them in kryptek?

I carry a springfield XD 45 in the winter a SAR B6P 9MM spring and fall and a Ruger lcp .380 in the summer. The reason for this is the changes in clothing for the seasons.

I'm thinking the glock family for now. Maybe a springfield xds 45 later.

I'm waiting for Kahr CM 45 to come back in stock. Seen some good reviews.

You'll probably have to go custom.

I know Mayflower makes them, but you won't like the price.

They have a pretty good selection of carriers on AR500s site.
