but SR77 may be a bit brittle for a long sword?... You're kidding, right? S7 steel makes for some of the toughest swords on earth. I'd say SR77 (modified S7) is more than qualified.

skeleton key's one of my fav busse models, though the skeleton warden may be taking its place. lately i'm into knives like those, the fixed subcom, the becker necker, and such.

I gave up on the entire Warden Movement....I am working when they come out and I miss it, sure it would be no problem to pick one up 1 day after they ship because they will certainly appear soon afterward for a nominal markup on the secondary market.

sounds corny.. but how 'bout a gladius/smatchet style? could use it for chopping too. I'd buy it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

On a big chopper the second edge would mean you could keep hacking at optimal efficiency for longer... A gladius/ smachete could work quite well. I'd rather go for a Legolas sized wakizashi/ parang personally though.

that'd be sweet too.
I like to swing around my gladius after strength training.. to work forearms. But it's a cheap wallhanger.. wish i had one that could really Chop!
Btw.. how did the name "smatchet" come about?
