Looks like the fortis is 11oz. So it will be light and easy on the arm.
The Troy looks tougher but I bet is heavier. But maybe more comfortable to grip.

Yeah its a lot of give and take when it comes to firearms, even when you can build your own its not always ideal.

My only concer I guess with the fortis is when grabbing and shooting will fingered and gloves get caught in its design? Or sticks and brush since I spend lots of time in the woods. Also with the bottom rail I wonder how it will feel with a C clamp grip...

you can get rail covers which would take care of the lower rail issue.

I did just come up with a concern with the fortis. It uses to locating tabs on te upper. But I'm worried the MUR uppers thicker walls may not work with those tabs

Handled a DD light rail III 15in... That thing is a tank and 15oz with full rails!

Got my box from BCM. One A2 flash hider and crush washer, one gunfighter mod3 charging handle, two rifle lenght gas tubes. One iron bond black 20in 410 stainless barrel And a bunch of free BCM stickers lol

That's sweet. Looks like my ideal rifle with no optics or mags/ammo or BUIS tips the scale around 8.3 pounds.
