Somebody looks like they're doing something to somebody in that picture!! You notice that neither of them are showing their hands? I bet either they have little stubs for fingers from typing so many posts, or the have Arnold hands from all that typing. Let's go with Arnold hands. Yeah, that's the ticket!

Todd and Susan were both stand up nice folks. PLUS they were willing to drive 200 miles (round trip) out of their way just to meet us. Or was it to see SMKW. OK, Maybe both. I just wish we would have had longer, but I chickened out and wouldn't drive up to the cabin after dark. Man, that road gives new meaning to the word STEEP! I actually wouldn't leave one day cause it rained and I was afraid of sliding down the mountain. One day several hours after a rain we went back the the truck did spin out twice! 17 Very steep switchbacks. A long wheelbase dually couldn't have made it up there. THAT'S why we got a cabin in the valley for the last 4 nights.

Todd and I could have spent quite a few hours in SMKW. Man I've never seen so many knives in one place in my entire life. They had some nice packs and other "Items" as well. Now if I was Bill gates I'd go back out there and stay for a LONG time, just saying "that, that, that.....", well you get the point.

Patty and I went back a couple days later, Patty saw a few things that we found out were cheaper there than down in Gatlinburg.
While I was there I picked up another knife (got a Mora bushcrafter when Todd and I were there). Got the Mora light My Fire with fire steel built into (and removable from) the handle.
