There's an Imbel on Imbel over there for $1,000 right now. Looks decent to me (of course that doesn't mean much since I'm a novice myself). Even has a grenade launcher front sight!

Greaser, I have to agree with you. Maybe not that stock in particular, but wood just doesn't do it for me on FALs. The purists just love 'em that way, though. I'd probably be repulsed if someone outfitted a BAR with a SCAR stock. I know I would be.

I sold an all Imbel (except for 7 DSA compliance parts) for $1000 in january. I listed it for six months at $1200 and didn't have a single inquiry.
This rifle was professionally assembled and parkerized consisting of a Imbel gear logo receiver and UNISSUED / BRAND NEW (all matching serial number) parts kit I bought back when you could get new condition kits.
I practically had to beg the buyer to take it, and $1000 include shipping and five 20rd mags.
