Hi Everybody,
I have been making a bunch of WS 1020 sheaths (Thank you everybody)
and making a bunch of neck sheaths for another customer.
In handling the WS 1020, I kept saying how sharp it is first.
Then how light it is.
So since I use .064" kydex for light neck sheaths I though making a light sheath for the WS 1020 would be a good idea.
Normally I use .093" for most sheaths I was curious what the variation would be.
the .064" kydex is not as robust as .093" but it is plenty secure enough and strong enough for a sheath. If you are backpacking where ounces matter then at 1.2 oz for just the sheath and 5.6 oz for the knife and sheath package, that is pretty light.
I thought it was interesting.
Here is what I came up with;
WS sheath comparison.
