I gave it up. We all felt teary about it, probably because we felt it was more God's idea than mine. The strange part to me is the super-strong gut feeling I had that he NEEDED my knife.

God indeed. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

What you did was inspired by humanity, compassion and yes perhaps even divinity.

If you felt The Lord move through your heart and mind to give up your beloved Mutt to this young man who will be fighting for his very life day after day half a world away you felt right. You went with the passion of your heart and may have actually saved his life. It may come down to your Mutt in four months from now. And won't you be glad when you hear that it saved his life?
Without a doubt in my mind you did the righteous thing, and I am also certain that YOU will be blessed for what you did as well.

Tom you are the embodiment of The Yard, a true Dog. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

God should give me the strength to do the same thing in your position. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

You have my respect and admiration. And I do not stand alone. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Peace.
