Thanks for the review. So you actually like the DF better then the NMFBM! Wow, that is a testimony. Say, are you saying that you cut wood...against the grain to section up trees and limbs with the DF? I can see batoning to split wood, but I have never considered driving it against the grain to section lumber, or am I misunderstanding what you said?

Would you say the DF is superior to say... a 14" bolo Tramontina? I am really impressed with this cheap tool for hacking small limbs. It is not a great chopper though big hardwood, but it will kill my small hatchet when it comes to 1.5" pine limbs and such.
