My latest blade has arrived. I love it. It went through this piece of hardwood in less than 30 seconds.

Meet the Silky Gomboy 210:

Here it is next to the Mutt.

First impressions:

1. Very well made
2. Very light
3. Cuts like a chain saw
4. Great rubber handle, very comfortable and soft feel
5. Cuts very smooth for aggressive teeth
6. Great for bushcraft, camping, and pruning.
7. Can change blades easily
8. Very strong and secure lock

This one will accompany me into the woods no matter what knife I take with me. I think it's both safer and far less intrusive to use on green and dry wood than an axe or large chopper.

Pairs up nicely with the DMDC doesn't it?
