I will also say that the trickery is fair game because Jerry goes out of his way to warn people about it, in a sticky thread at the top of the forum. If people lack the reading comprehension to understand that, or are too lazy to read that thread carefully and notice the giant bold warning in different colors, warning them about the treachery, then they might deserve to get tricked.
But maybe that's my vindictive side of too many years teaching spoiled rotten liberal arts college kids - I like the idea of teaching people a lesson for not bothering to READ THE BLOODY INSTRUCTIONS

I will agree with you on that point 1000%. I had a college exam that had a line with name_____________________, then the questions. Included in the directions it said to write your name on the back page of the exam, and turn right side up. For those that followed the directions received a 100% and those who did not received a 0%. I loved that class.
