Have you had a chance to check out a SW HRLM?
It has the same short stout blade of the Basic 4 with the RMD handle!
I love it.
I haven't bought the Basic 4,yet, due to unexpected Christmas expenses. Oh, I am also looking forward to the SYKCO 4-11.

I passed on those when they were being offered. At the time I didn't see a need for a 4". Now I'm finding that an anorexic 4" is about as practical for "daily stuff" as a knife can be.
