OP pitman Junk Yard Dog Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 2,795 Vancouver Island, B.C	I actually think that if the 611 was made from 3/16" stock it could well be the most useful knife of the series, maybe even the greatest knife to come out of Yard to date !!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> At 6" long the blade would be plenty long enough for battoning. As the blade would be wider than such knives as the 311,511 or even the Scrapper 5 the bevel would be higher and therefore the knife should cut better than both. The wide stock would also add to it's lateral strength making it better at prying than knives such as the 511 and Ratmandu.
