My ElMax has been working flawlessly. Fuzz sticks, small batoning jobs (only on green wood..haven't tried a really hard wood yet), slicing perpendicular to some green limbs in an effort to cut them in half, etc.
I just love it's weight. It's so light, there's no reason NOT to have one, along with any large knife you want.
