Gary, this is exactly WHY your posts are so looked forward to by the Dogs. You HAVE been there and done that and speak from EXPERIENCE and do not tout a Kill em all and let God sort em out attitude. You speak from study, contemplation and real world reality. And you pass it on to us with your posts. Thank You SIR, and that is a title you HAVE earned.

With access to every imaginable weapon. Even rare items like live Class 3 Sturmgewehr 44, Mp38, Mg 42, Reising M50, etc.

I know the M50 SMG is...that one ended belonging to me. I sold all of my Class 3 items around 2001-3. My SMG collection was weak compared to the people I knew back then:

MK Arms Mk760 (clone of S&W 76 made on their tooling)
Uzi
Sten Mk5 (very rare C&R)
Reising M50
Mac11
Inland M2 Carbine (very rare C&R)

I also had a Ruger Mk2 Suppressed.

I might be the only person (ever) to LOSE money on a Class 3 collection.

Eta: those $200 per person tax stamps sucked too.

The one good thing about the NFA is that with inflation that $200 keeps getting cheaper and cheaper. How would you like to pay that in 1936?
