That's a nice write-up, Randy. Thanks for taking the time.

Thanks Adam. When I ordered my day pack I got to thinking about a folder to put in it and I just grabbed up a handful from out of a drawer.

I sold my Emerson the other day. I didn't find out until I after I shipped it that it is the buyers first Emerson. He received it and it appears that his opinion of it is much better than mine was.

Against my better judgement, I'm considering giving the brand another chance. I don't like thumbstuds/thumbdisks, tantos, or chisel grinds so my options are very limited. I'm either going to go with a CQC-10, Endeavor, or El Bandito.

Thumb studs are not my favorite. They dig into my Dunlop, (done lopped over my belt) if I carry under my belt. But the discs, don't seem to do that. But I like the Spider hole and variants the best, plus they don't get in the way of your cut.

I just don't like seperate protrusions sticking out of the side of my blade. Opening holes or flippers only. I'll even take a nail nick.

Hey, do you have a Buck 112 or Case Mako? I recently bought a couple "vintage" ones (they're my age) and I'm liking them a lot.

Only bucks I have are the Small original buck folding lockback (not the original but the remake) and a small fixed blade called the diamondback.

I don't really care for the buck, it's to big and chunky, but the diamondback is sweet, for a SMALL blade.

Here's the little fixed blade. 3 inches of steel.

You're probably describing the 110 and I agree, it's a bit much. The 112 is it's little brother. It is comparable in size to the Case Mako.
