I would love to have an exact copy of this knife made using GOOD heat treated steel. But don't figure I ever will. Just one of those things.

Oh It's a leaf spring alright. It does OK, but it's still pretty soft. The good thing is that you can literally sharpen it on a b brick. I HAVE sharpened it on a concrete wall before using water and it did work pretty good.

Of all the knives I have, and I do have a few, this one is I still think is my favorite. It has a LOT of memories associated with it. Maybe that is why I like it so much.
