We had great yields of Carolina Gold tomatoes last year, even better than our old favorite Golden Jubilee. The Early Girls and Sweet 100's always do well.

Last year, I planted some Sweet 100 and Sun Gold that produced tons of cherry tomatoes. The Bkack Krim and Early Girl did very well also. The German Johnson and Beef Master did not do as well because I left them in the peat pots when I planted them. It said on the pot to do it that way but I found out in the fall that the pots did not disintegrate as they were supposed to. This year I will take them out of the pots they come in.

We are limiting the varieties of tomatoes and peppers, as we had such great success last year. The General made zuchini lasagna many times last year...I love it!!!

You know I have heard that freezes quite well, and if it was packed properly I bet it would survive the trip to the East side.

I never leave enough to be worth packing up!
