whatever country that is from needs to be taken to WAR....and NO i am not trying to be funny.those type of spineless cowards are just as much a threat as muslim extremists imo.

me losing my right to defend me or my family is as dangerous as being attacked, not to mention that knives are also tools.

i hate three breeds of people:
the stupid
the ignorant
the cowardice

i should have never looked at that post.i am steaming now.i dont know why it makes me so mad.

GOD BLESS AMERICA while it still is free......sort of.

DONT EVER GIVE UP YOUR FREEDOMS FOR ANYTHING INCLUDING SO CALLED "SAFETY"
SOME THINGS ARE WORTH FIGHTING FOR,SOME ARE WORTH DYING FOR.

to give up what we had to fight so hard to gain is a slap in the face to all who have died since the founding of this country to protect and gain our freedoms.it will have all been done for nothing...freedom and family, the two things i would fight till the death for and if you think im extreme thats your problem.

that's it, I'm boycotting everything from the U.K. except jelly babies. and dr. who. and the six hot chicks who live there. and shaving cream. and oi! music and a couple other things. but I'm definitely never going there on vacation. look at how well the restrictions in place so far have worked: yobs and neds carrying stanley knives to cut people with. a 1" blade that can do more than enough damage if it's in the hands of someone intent on using it for such.
paul, you got to move over here, man. really.

What an awful site in every way! Idiotically campaigning to reduce the number of knives on the streets; trying to do it through having one million pledges so that it's impossible to ignore; offering as their only argument "In fact, many victims of knife attacks have their own knives turned against them".

And who is the genius who came up with the theme of graffiti tags with spray paint cans, encouraging petty crime to get their message across? And then decided to make the creation of a pledge difficult and time-consuming, through the process of trying to spray paint graffiti on a wall (which will minimize their number of pledges? And decided to make the spray paint cans difficult to use, with drips and so on? And decided to make the walls too small to write a pledge more than a few words long? And decided to make each pledge into a graphic which takes up a lot of memory to store or and a lot of bandwidth to display?

Moderated? Their aim is one million pledges, and they're moderating each pledge? Do they have any concept of the labor resources involved with moderating a million pledges? (Actually, far more than one million, since many won't survive moderation.) They must be aware from the beginning that they are doomed to dismal failure of far fewer than one million, or else they wouldn't attempt this silliness of dealing with the labor of moderating each pledge.

And they made the terms and conditions a pop-up which most browsers will block, and thus, most people will never see?

Emasculated, anti-liberty, muddle headed, insane... arrgh!

It's sad that some people see the knives as the problem rather than the criminals who use the knives... Longer periods of incarceration and less bleeding heart liberalism would make the streets a little safer imho.

I was in Britain earlier this year and I really had no problems in discussion until it came to guns and knives. They really couldn't grasp why you would want to carry any type of weapon mainly for two reasons. One, the stupid reason that someone could take it from you and use it against you and two, they were afraid that a gun could go off by accident and kill some one. I decided that they felt like they had no control over any thing that they did. Otherwise the people were marvelous an friendly in every way to me. Those 6 good looking chicks must have been following me because London was just eat up with some hot babes!!
