I did it you guys! I bought a Delta SA180 1x42 belt sander/grinder, $100 shipped from woodcraft. I'll be ordering the belts and A2 steel this week. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Whatcha going to make? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Something really cool I expect. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> Belts almost cost me as much as the grinder. Good thing I ordered the delta early in the day as it sold out. I have a couple drawings and thousands of ideas I can't wait to try. The first knife I made, the steel was already cut all weird so I had to work with what I had. Now I have some blank steel I can work with, but I have no idea where to begin. Finals are going to be over in a week and I'm going to have until the end of January to grind! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
