The quality alone is a good payoff. It's a look of nature we don't really think of capturing but it's there and still beautiful in my book. I've got a pic of the sun and trees that is pretty dark and I have found that some like it and some don't. Those that did like it however understood and shared the same feelings, which brought comfort in knowing we are not alone. Sometimes the biggest payoff is that these pics can cause us to re-examine ourselves and maybe get our priorities back in line. Appreciate everything anew. I just saw a pic the other day, truly truly horrible, and it was inadvertent. All this week it pops into my head and sickens me to my stomach sometimes but I am appreciating life more and more because of it. It was a real picture of a freak accident, and though I can handle it I don't think others here could. Your photos don't sicken me to my stomach, lol, but they do show me I'm not the only going through pain- and that's kinda nice.

mhr,
My condolences about your dog.
I had a cat for 20 years who was like a daughter to me. I sympathize.
Best wishes to you.

evo i enjoy all of your work. i agree with andy that nature is emotionless and emotion is in the eye of the beholder.
your work make me think about life and its all encompassing situations. which is a good thing
please dont stop taking pictures.

oh i finished my belt too.. i didnt use the slatts knot though its way too hard to weave all that paracord. i used the cobra braid instead....its a bit big for me...im going to try find a buckle tomorrow as well and try a different braid, possibly a cobra with more "innards" or i found some guys quick howto (no pictures though) other thing is i need to be able to attach my knives to the belt somehow...

You made a belt out of paracord!!! Nice! I was thinking the only place I could use it was as shoelaces but that takes the cake. You probably get a lot of length with that, maybe even 50 ft.
