^ hey DOTD, you still looking for a recurve bow for the kid (or yourself) ? I may have something for you..... Sorry for the delay there fine fellow dawg, was composing an email. I've got the young guy carving his first bow. I'm dubious as to whether it will work or not, but the young fellow is having fun doing it I'm kinda in the market for a bow. Whatch'a got there my friend?

^ nope, no hunting licence (yet). A few boxs taken at target shoots.
DOTD, its a Chekmate Kings Pawn Recurve, 24LBS at 28" pull. 64" tiller to tiller, 12 new Easton target shafts (6 lite, 6 medium)
this bow HAS taken a deer, but not by me. Its a great target bow, or rabbit bow,

I found this website today that deals with books that have been banned through history, both in North America and world wide. For instance, I found out that some of Mark Twain's books have been banned. It's an eye opening site. http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/banned-books.html

It's weird that in some parts of the world Little Red Riding Hood was banned,
Black Beauty (story about the horse), Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer were
banned, a whole bunch of Shakesphere has been banned throughout the world,
and a whole bunch of others.
Interestingly, the U.S. Constitution has been banned as reading material in
parts of the world.

One of my favorite woods is Myrtle wood. I have a few vases and a plate made out of it. If you haven't seen it, it's iridescent and looks kinda like tiger's eye (rock). I'd love to have a walking stick made out of it. A gun stock/grips or knife handle would be pretty sweet too.

That's nice looking wood Andy.
Googled it and found some gun stocks made of it.
Really sweet there!
