Here's a pic from a couple of years ago that I just came across. It was a very lucky shot. He was following a doe by about 35 yards. I was in a tree and she was directly below me eating some bark off the tree. I was at full draw and he was looking at her, then she must have alerted him, because he looked directly at me. He actually ran about 50 yards - up hill. It was a stupid choice to shoot, but it was and still is the biggest one I've gotten to date. Though my quest for big deer has pretty much ended.

yeah, one inch in any direction and he'd have died and never been found. I have the skull (with one hole) and antlers over my fireplace.

Here it is. Pbussy set me off with his santimonious crap. Thatmguy shut me down and issued me a warning. I like Busses. But if I get a chance, I plan on punching out a few kool aide drinking jerks at Blade this year. There is one in particular I will be seeking out, a pencil necked geek of a jerk.
