any recommendations on a "entry" level camera?
im looking for something that i can zoom in & take pics of wildlife in my backyard.

i can get the close ups...not nearly a pro job....but its kinda clear



but i would like to be able to get close ups of the other stuff...a bit further away

heh heh, don't worry about the spelling...that's cool. The cool thing about the Hawaiian language is phonetic (sp?) The letters always sound the same, unlike english...bear, bare for example. I think you went to Haleakala and Lahaina? You were on the island of Maui then?

Vance, I love the flower pic. Beautiful. Now the tree rat, that looks best through a scope LOL. Well IMHO. That is something HD and myself would have fun with!

OK, on a serious note, my PaPa had a couple pet tree rats that would eat out of his hands,but I dare not shoot at Oscar or his girlfriend LOL. Things like that you pictured makes me remember why I loved spending time with PaPa!
