Howdy JRK ! Welcome to the Yard. Even though you have to pay sales tax, you should enjoy some fast shipment of knives. Mine arrived one week after I ordered, and I live in S.W. Missouri. Tom I wish they would put some discriptions on the deferences between the two models... If a zero grind is what I think it is, it is probabally the one I want(flat to the edge and then a convex put on the very edge). But there is not much choice, as I want a blade with no coating... I have found that my experience coincides with the Bark River people, in that coatings(even Teflon) seem to REALLY lower cutting ability in meat...

I think a zero edge is any edge that has no seconday bevel at all -- the second Scrap6LE i got had a convex edge that was blended into the primary grind, but the angle on both of them becomes more obtuse up to the edge, to varying degrees. I hope this helps...
We need a 5/16" (or thicker) SR-77 BOWIE!!! (Written back in early '07 -- Regulator Premonition?)

I always wondered what that meant exactly...Zero edge. A certain SBR has it and it is wicked sharp!

GF - maybe they will use the same mold as the SBR, and make a zero-edged uncoated 9" scrapper. Voila!

The last time my "nether regions" tingled like that I had a tick crawling around. Of course, that was before I received my Scrapper.
