The FBM is a beast, and will chop through 2" trees in one swipe, but the M9LE is way easier to handle. That knife has such sweet balance.. it feels like you are holding a smaller knife, until you see what it does...

What a crappy day... bunch of bad stuff happened at work, the Phillies got their butts whooped by the Braves in a game that required me to sit out in the sun in blazing Georgia heat, and worst of all, I came home and there were no Scrapper 5's waiting for me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Yeah I love the balance of the M9 - it's outchopped by some knives, even ones that are much smaller, but it handles almost like a machete. Great for clearing brush and doesn't tire you out as much as some pure choppers. And it's still got the heft and blade length to do some serious batoning.

The big boys..

Three of the finest big knives ever made, IMO. Nice pic, Clint.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
