I would really like an SS4 to edc but I'm to cheap to buy one now. MAYBE when Uncle Sam starts paying me, but who knows. I need another knife like I need a 7th hole in my head.

Just scored a benchmade Contego in M390 with grey and black G10 for $140 and a grizzly ridge in S30V for $80

Here's another pic with a change with my folders this year. Went ahead and decided to give autos a try. Started off with the Microtech otf after seeing a review on bladehq and I like it a lot. If I had to do it over again I would have bought the drop point though. Gave my nephew one of those Kershaws for Christmas and I liked playing with it so much I ordered one for myself. The most recent was the Protech as I wanted to check one out seeing how they are one of the biggest names in autos- I'm very impressed with the quality and action of it.

The only thing I don't like about the "Good" autos is that when you "Fire" them they want to jump out of your hand. I am like you, don't really like the WESTERNIZED tanto, except the ones on my CQC15s.

The tanto style of my Last Rites is pretty nice.

Yeah, it's not bad. Kinda like the Tali-Whacker tip. Not what I would call a true tanto as there isn't a sharp transition between the blade and where it slopes up to the tip.
