On the Retribution Folders, I really like the handles.

Other than that, the blade shape and square thumb hole isn't doing to much for me. What's really bothering me on the Retribution isn't the blade broadness, more of the fact that I don't like clip points. If it were a slight drop point, then that would be a different story. The square thumb hole might even go well with a drop point.

As for the SERE 2000, I'd much rather get the fixed. Well...if I could get the fix SERE I'd rather get a Scrapper 6. That's the end of the line there.

It is that time of an addiction for you... called withdrawal symptoms after having not held a new knife in quite a while.

Is there a cure??

Yes, that is BUY MORE KNIVES!!!!!

I'm hoping to go on a binge sometime soon. Now is a little early.

I bought the S30v/g10 leek. Decided to give it to my son. I wanted to like it but it's pretty heavy for the size and the AO just doesn't float my boat. My Camillus Heat is a lot cooler knife, IMO.

!? i really hate my camillus heat. i keep it for the sole purpose of comparing every new knife i get to it to see if it's sharper. the heat always wins. i don't like the assist or the zytel. blade's awesome.

if you ever need a replacement or backup, feel free to PM.

Hey Mag,
That Heat is a $30 knife and it kicks butt. The zytel is just OK. I do like how light it is. The assist on mine is no better or worse than the few others I've tried. The lock is nicely done for a liner lock. I really like the blade shape. And yes, it is wicked sharp. Hard to believe it's just AUS-8. If my heat falls apart I'll PM ya

How are you guys testing for sharpness, then?????????

Sharpest folder I ever got was my first Rukus, with a satin finish. I don't even wanna talk about it.
