Got my new SERE 2000 in today. Much more rugged than I thought it would be. Thick stainless steel liners (no holes). Much beefier than my Rat Trap, but a little smaller. I got a cheap Benchmade Pikka lockback, too. They threw in free shipping, a free Gerber pocket sharpener, and a free CRKT Edgie. Pics tomorrow maybe.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Hah! You have a huge pocket knife collection, magnum. I am pleased with today's bootie. It arrived right after I got back from my hike today. I need some more Spydercos. The BM Pikka reminds me of one.

i don't have nearly as many folders as you have fixed blades. if you don't count saks, that cuts my pocket knives down considrably. still got plenty of spydies. no denying that.

Here’s my newest favorite, my Spyderco Endura. This is my first Spyderco.

It’s quite thin, a little over ¼” thick.

With some other knives I brought to school with me.

And opened…you might notice there are 2 more knives in this pic. I forgot 2 in the previous pic. I always forget 1+ knives for a photo shoot…

I even made a video of it.

Nice Endura, Andy. That is the only Spyderco I have, but mine just has the regular black handle. I see you have some Cold Steels. I see them being trashed over on BF all the time, but mine have been good knives. How is that Recon? Never used one of those.

the endura's great. yo have those nested steel liners in ours, vic, which is one of the reasons i recommend it over the military.

Vance, hope you don't get caught flipping the Byrd at someone <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Neat little knife, rude though it might be <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

It's alright. I wish it wasn't a tanto point though. I carried it for a while when I first got it, but I haven't carried it for a long time.

Wow, that's pretty cheap. How is the quality on those Byrds compared to the regular Spydercos?
