I'm on knife probabtion! I only got that Model1 cuz it was $30. It'll be a little while - waiting for the next one that really speaks to me.

I'll obviously get the next RAT - I have all of the RATs made from '02-present. I finally found my RAT 'holy grail' - a Livesay RTAK, made in '02 - in mint, on ebay. Its $500 though, so I can't get it right now! There are 2 other RATs from the late 90's - one made by Greco, the other by Tops. Those are the ONLY knives that are on the market that I'm interested in at the moment...

The ZT is nice, though. I held a couple of them - but they didn't impress me THAT much!

The Citadel is the auto right? It is cool but ugly.

I love the Manix and the Chinook3. The snap when it locks up is very sweet.

I like the fixed Spydies ,especially the Mule and the Yang kitchen knife.
The Aqua Salt looks pretty cool as well.

I traded a Emerson CQC-7 for my small Manix and I love it.

The other folder I've been carrying a lot lately is a Boker AK-74 but I think more because it's an auto. The Manix is the king of my folders.

For a more dressy feel I have a slim Mora and a nice Mcusta, both out of Seki city in Japan.

Which knife do you mean Vance?

The Aqua Salt is a lot less wacky than the RockSalt. I do want to try out the H2 steel.

There is a new Mule coming out! It will be M4 steel which will rock but will probably cost more than the 52100 Mule.

The boker has a nice shape to it. It's also that funky sand colour, and the auto part is a bit of a novelty here in Kanuckistan. AUS-8 steel so you know how that goes. At least it's very easy to re-sharpen. The one I have has a combo edge so that comes in handy going through boxes and cord.

The manix though, makes it look and feel like a cheap toy. Most solid feeling folder I've ever held.

OH GOD!!! I need to get one of those. M2 is awesome, M4 should be even more awesome.

The only knife that I recall using M4 steel was a Custom Dwayne Dywer Japanese Fighter.

People should really start using steels with amazing edge retention, I don't think most people use their folder like they do with their fix blades. Toughness shouldn't be a concern for folders. Though, oddly enough, S90V, at the same rockwell hardness is tougher than 440C.
