they are chisel ground ya know right?
You sure, I can fix that but are you sure they are chisel ground.

that's nothing that needs to be fixed. i've handled em, pretty solid. you can feel the construction when you hold it. never cut anything with one, though.

I'll have to regrind it then, of course since its not a benchmade or kershaw I might send it to Krein for a regrind.

i dunno who told you that, but it's an edge like any other, just at an angle. slant the blade so the edge makes contact in a fashion that the media being cut is perpendicular with the edge's bisector.

heavy, deep cutting should be kept straight by the flat side of the knife.

although that's doable, that seems like such a radical change that it's probably better to look for a different knife.

another point, you've got plenty of knives with the conventional grind. that could be your chisel ground knife.

this is my newest and probably my favorite folder.i've got fixed blades that arent as solid as this thing.it is a tank.all the pro's of a strider at half the cost.

here it is,the Zero Tolerance 302,{ignore my scale-less little bird on top}

[Linked Image from i234.photobucket.com]
CB g-10 and titanium handle,s30v blade with the hinderer liner lock thingy on it.i gotta say that i dont like the camo blade.its kind of mall-ninja-ish if ya know what i mean.

my "edc" for over a year now and i promise many more to come is an
Emerson CQC-14 "Snubby".

[Linked Image from i234.photobucket.com]

the emerson actually feels like a toy compared to the ZT but the ZT is two big and heavy to "edc" and even though it has assisted opening the "wave" feature is where its at for me.i feel ike i have been spoiled with it and their is no going back.if its something you havnt tried out i would give it a try any chance you get.

some people dont like it,i think its the best thing since lock backs.

i also hreally like a titanuim frame-lock i got from T.O.P.S. that they have made by FOX in Italy.n690c holds and takes a whicked edge and is affordable.

My ziptie modded griptilian will have to do for now.

Sweet Folders N1.

Mind doing a little demonstration, with the ZT, Emerson, and some of your other knives?

I must say, I'd EDC the ZT if I had one. No knife is too big or heavy for me cuz my perspective of knives has been skewed by owning a BM Rukus.

I honestly, I feel like the Rukus is a necker and 14 inch knives are small fixed blades. Even my FBM feels a little small at the moment. (...must...have.... Busse AK-47 to cure this....AH!!!!!!![even that, I doubt will fix my view of knife sizes ] )

Now that's a knife!

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
