Mac - making serious accusations without solid evidence to back them up is a dangerous path to travel. Bruce is bang on that the threads prove absolutely nothing. I have seen people do things like this for no reason other than to try and tarnish the reputation of a company.

Please be more careful in the future.

Mac- This is the exact kind of illogical thing to say. While I will agree with you that people are illogical, you know the forum rules and what your discussing of is illegal conduct of business (yes it does happen everyday, but it isn't what we're discussing here, you want to complain to that, go to the Supreme Court)

Please do remember the rules on this forum (and how you a few dogs lost the teen death chat) and be careful in what you say.

CO- Thanks for getting there before I could.

Back to folders,

I'm actually quite fond of Striders. I've always liked their designs. Then Blade West '07 came and I played with a few and now detest the handles on most of their designs.

While their blade shape are definitely strong and functional (especially their tantos) their handles are extremely uncomfortable to hold. (I will say that the VB handles are very nice though and are on par with scaled fixed knives). The handles on their PT to XLs all are very odd to me. I can't really see the handles working in a good mannered fashion. They're really boxy (I've handled the CC versions and they're slightly more comfortable but read on) and have a very odd shape to them. The odd shape is what I dislike about handles. They purpose of those, that I see, is for aesthetics. I will admit they look really cool, but in the hand it's just not what I like.

However, I still want a Strider (too look at ), specifically one of their XLs or NM SMF or ARs. Their blades, the way I see it, can be very functional. They just need to focus a bit more on the handles.

Course The Yard has Res-C and SR-77 so my place is still here.

Ahhhh, I was just making you guys aware. I did not intend for my comments to be viewed serious accusations. I have nothing against Mantis but some of their buisness practices can be viewed as shady.

But like Sharp says, back to folders.

I think res-c inlays on a folder oy multitool would be awesome. I always hear stories of inexperianced knife handlers letting the blade go and it flying across the room, res-c inlays would combat this. I also never trust the grip I get on multitools, never feels safe.
